FROM PAPER TO PITCH:
THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE NEW SUFC KIT
PROPOSED 2005/06 SHIRT DESIGN

Having been playing in the current chocolate and amber quarters since the 1996/97 season, when it was introduced as part of the centenary celebrations, this season could be United's last in that design. The club have been looking into changing the shirt next season and one possible avenue will be for the U's to play in stripes.

Looking at this design, I think they could do with losing the stripes on the sleeves and the amber colour seems to be too orange. Not sure about the white background to the sponsor either, but otherwise it could be a nice change.
